The generator counts how often each word appears, drops very short words and common function words if you ask, and draws the most frequent words largest. A spiral placement routine looks for a free space for each word, so the biggest words sit near the center and smaller ones fill the gaps.
Pick a color palette and a background, allow some words to run vertically for a denser look, or press new layout for a different arrangement of the same words. The finished cloud downloads as a PNG, with an optional transparent background.
Size follows the square root of the frequency so that a word that appears four times is drawn twice as large as one that appears once, which keeps the cloud readable.
Words shorter than the minimum length, common words (when skipped), numbers, and words beyond the maximum count are left out. Lower the minimum length or raise the limit to include more.
