Paste numbers in any common format and get a clean sorted list.
Numbers can be separated by commas, semicolons, spaces or new lines. Each token is read as a real number, so 10 sorts after 9 rather than after 1, and negative values and decimals are handled correctly. Tokens that are not numbers are ignored and counted in the status line.
Choose ascending or descending order, remove duplicates if needed and pick the separator for the result. The info line also reports the count, sum, minimum and maximum, which makes the tool handy for quick checks.
Text sorting compares character by character, so 100 comes before 20. This tool compares the actual values, so 20 comes before 100.
They are skipped, and the info line tells you how many were ignored so that nothing disappears silently.
Use the Sort Words Alphabetically tool for text. It also has a natural sort mode that handles numbers inside words, such as item2 and item10.
